See it on a business website
Explore six use cases in a fictional coffee cart website. These examples stay in your browser—no inquiry, booking, upload, or payment is sent.
Office mornings, courtyard celebrations, and the moments in between. We bring the cart, the baristas, and something worth getting together for.
Fictional business website
Embedded experience below
Try this example with fictional information only.
Collect the event details once. Each valid submission creates a lead linked to the customer record.
Customer + new leadFrom submission to follow-up
Customers submit the event details on your website. Your team gets a lead with the customer, requested service, date, and notes ready to review.
Follow the full workflow →Date, guest count, service, venue, and notes arrive together—not across a chain of messages.
The lead links to a customer in your business. Available source and campaign details stay with the inquiry.
Review the request and any price estimate. Prepare a quote, then collect a signature and the required payment after acceptance.
Form fields
Configure labels, descriptions, order, requirements, and supported conditions. Keep a simple coffee-cart inquiry simple, and gather more detail for a full-service event.
Collect contact details and the event address.
Contact fields and structured addresses connect the inquiry to the right customer.
Ask for the date, guest count, and service requirements.
Use numeric bounds, required fields, field order, and conditional visibility. Event-date availability can be checked where configured.
Separate a preference from a priced selection.
Live ordering includes products and modifiers. Forms can collect named preferences through choice fields; automatically catalog-linked package, menu, and add-on form controls are not yet available.
Ask follow-up questions only when they matter.
Published forms support validated private attachments. File uploads are intentionally disabled in this public demo. Conditions use supported rules, not arbitrary scripts.
You decide the next step
The same configured form can support different sales processes. An estimate is never silently treated as an accepted quote or a confirmed booking.
Create a new lead for your team to qualify. Show your custom confirmation message without exposing pricing.
Calculate an estimate using your pricing rules and save it for your team to review. The customer does not see this estimate.
Show a non-binding estimate using your pricing rules. The customer still needs to accept a quote and meet your signature and payment requirements to book.
Embed settings
Forms and menus share your business branding, but their controls differ. Here is what you can configure today—and what is not available yet.
| Setting | Available scope | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Custom confirmation message | Forms | Set the message and submit-button label for each form. |
| Redirect after submission | Not available yet | Forms currently show an on-page confirmation. This preview does not navigate customers to another site. |
| Notification recipients | Not per-form yet | Per-form notification recipients are not available yet. A submission does not automatically send an email. |
| Lead source | Captured automatically | Retain available source, referrer, page URL, UTM parameters, and embed identity. |
| Default pipeline stage | New lead | Form submissions start as new leads. A configurable per-form default stage is not available yet. |
| Brand colors | Forms and menus | Use your business branding for forms. Menu embeds can use a separate accent color. |
| Button style | Menus | Choose solid, outline, or minimal menu controls. Forms support custom button text. |
| Border radius | Business branding | Use the configured customer-facing corner preference. |
| Font inheritance | Configured fonts | Choose a font that matches your website. Embeds do not automatically inherit the website’s fonts or styling. |
| Light / dark appearance | Menus | Menu embeds support light, dark, or device appearance. Inquiry forms currently use a light surface. |
Install on your website
Squarespace, Wix, WordPress, Webflow, Framer, or a custom HTML site—provided your plan and security settings permit scripts and iframes. No native website-builder integration is required.
<script async src="https://pickupdock.com/embed/form.js" data-platform-form="REPLACE_WITH_PUBLIC_EMBED_KEY"></script>The loader creates an isolated iframe and adjusts its height automatically. Replace the marker with the public key generated in your workspace—not a private account ID or API key.
Public embeds, limited access
Each embed has a public link to a published form or menu. That link does not grant access to your customer list, private records, or account settings.
Website-builder policies and payment-provider requirements still apply. A payment step may open the supported checkout flow rather than staying inside the host page.
Before you get started
No. Forms and menus can sit inside your existing pages. Your website host must permit the required iframe or script. Some plans, plugins, or content-security policies restrict custom embeds.
Choose your brand color, font, and corner style in PickupDock. Embeds do not automatically inherit your website’s styling. Menu embeds also have separate accent, button, and appearance controls.
Not by itself. It captures a booking inquiry. The quote, contract, and configured reservation condition determine a confirmed booking. Real self-service appointment booking is not enabled; the scheduling page has a labeled concept.
Yes. Choose display-only for a public menu or order-enabled for pickup ordering. Live ordering requires published channel-visible products, configured availability, and a connected merchant payment account to collect payment.
No. Update and publish the menu in PickupDock. Customers see the changes when they load or refresh the embedded menu; you do not need to edit your website code.
Published forms support validated private attachments when a file field is configured. This marketing preview does not accept files or submit any personal information.
